1. Agreement
By creating an account, installing the Chrome extension, or using FlashDemo, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use FlashDemo on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The service
FlashDemo lets you capture product walkthroughs as frame-based interactive demos (screenshots plus interaction layers—not video files), edit overlays such as click animations, zoom, labels, and chat bubbles, and share demos via public player links or embeds.
Features and limits depend on your plan (Free, Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Enterprise). Current pricing is listed on our pricing page.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your login secure. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use FlashDemo to capture or publish content you do not have rights to share
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, watermarks, or security controls
- Reverse engineer, abuse, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Upload malware or use demos for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes
- Scrape or harvest data from other users’ demos without permission
5. Your content
You retain ownership of demos and materials you create. You grant FlashDemo a limited license to host, process, display, and deliver that content solely to operate the service (including public player and embed delivery when you share a demo).
You are responsible for ensuring your recordings and published demos comply with applicable laws and third-party terms for the sites you capture.
6. Plans, billing, and cancellations
Free accounts include limited recordings, view-only editing, a FlashDemo watermark, and a public player link. Paid plans unlock editing, higher limits, and remove the watermark as described on the pricing page.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or yearly basis. Yearly plans reflect the discount shown at checkout. You can manage or cancel via the billing portal in the app. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us.
Enterprise plans may include custom limits, SSO, and contracts negotiated separately.
7. Chrome extension
The extension requires permissions to capture the active tab when you start recording, store frames locally during a session, and upload demos to your account. Recording is user-initiated. You must only record pages and content you are authorized to demonstrate.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify features, plans, or these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLASHDEMO AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
11. Termination
You may stop using FlashDemo and delete your demos at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.
12. Contact
